PUBG Mobile Tops List of Billion-Dollar Mobile Games in 2020

Sensor Tower data shows five mobile games surpassed $1 billion in revenue in 2020, a record.
PUBG Mobile (including Game For Peace) led with nearly $2.6 billion, up 64.3% from 2019.
Honor of Kings followed with close to $2.5 billion, up 42.8%.
Pokémon GO earned $1.2 billion (up 31.5%), its best year.
Coin Master generated $1.1 billion (double 2019), and Roblox nearly doubled to $1.1 billion.
Monster Strike is close to joining with $958 million.
The COVID-19 pandemic boosted mobile gaming, with total market revenue up 19.5% to $75.4 billion.
Previous years had only three billion-dollar games in 2019 and 2018, and two in earlier years.
