Dec 26, 2018·2 min read

According to Sensor Tower data, TikTok from Bytedance achieved its highest ranking ever in November 2018, placing No.2 globally for downloads after WhatsApp.
This marked an improvement from its No.3 position in October.
The rankings, based on App Store and Google Play data, exclude third-party Android stores and count only first-time installs per account.
Other top performers included YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook in downloads, while Netflix, Tinder, and Tencent Video led in revenue.
The data highlights TikTok's rapid growth and the dominance of social and video apps in the mobile market.
