Japan Leads Mobile App Spending Per Capita in 2021, Climbing 18% Over 2020 to Nearly $150

Among the top 10 highest grossing markets (excluding China), total consumer spending grew 22% YoY to $65.4 billion.
The US led overall spending at $30.1 billion, followed by Japan at $18.6 billion.
Thailand experienced the largest per capita spending growth, increasing 33% to $12, while Germany showed the smallest slowdown in growth.
