By merging with TikTok Global (excluding China), they plan to apply their Axon AI advertising model, which quadrupled advertiser spend in two years.
This could boost TikTok's ad revenue from $20B to $80B annually, generating $120B for businesses and creating 1.2 million jobs.
The merger also addresses national security, data privacy, and youth content safety concerns while maintaining focus on their core advertising business.
