Facebook's Creative Shop developed a framework to convert still image ads into lightweight video ads.
The Video Creation Kit enables advertisers to transform existing images and text into mobile-first videos in 1:1 or 9:16 formats.
It offers four templates in Ads Manager or Facebook Page Publishing Tools: promote a product (6 seconds), sell multiple products (6 seconds), show product benefits (15 seconds), and drive product discovery (15 seconds).
These templates follow a performance-optimized story arc to generate interest, promote offers, highlight features, or share brand uniqueness.
